Change in the weather this morning, a little breezy & cloud cover
Caught 4 fish before the wind blew me off the water. Caught my last fish about 9:30 & the wind was making it impossible to troll a straight line, or even a crooked line. ;D
Started out with orange grubs, 2" at 20' on one rod, 3" at 25' on the other. Had 3 hits on the 2" but they were just pulling it down on the hook & not sticking. Finally the 4th hit stuck, but I lost it at the boat....Caught a nice hook jawed male on the 3" grub at 25', then got a nice 2 3/4 - 3 pounder on the 2" grub. Got another on the 2" grub, a real pretty fish, & chunky too. Then it was chub city....caught 3 in the next 1/2 hour, all at 30' in 50' of water. Usually chubs are closer to the bottom.
Switched lures to the Red Dog on one & Fire & Ice Needlefish on the other, sped up to 1.70, fish on.....another chub,& this one went about 5 pounds, pretty good fight too.
Caught my last fish when I quit. Pulled the line loose from the downrigger & I had a dink on. Wonder if I changed his neighborhood for him ;D

Had a chance to chat with HSUsteelie yesterday, great talking with you Chris. :)
Going home in the morning, sure hate to leave this place :'( *Be back Aug 26th 8-)

Photo's from yesterday

Bob, short strike fish on grubs at Eagle got me to come up with a stinger hook. A small treble, tied off of the main hook. I've caught quite a few fish that were just lipped by that stinger hook.

Fish look great on the bbq!
