My son and I made our first trip to Eagle Lake and fished with Tim Noxon of Fish Travelers Guide Service. We launched before sunrise and headed toward the shrimp island area and within minutes we had our first fish. These are big beautiful hard-fighting fish. We trolled grubs and some lures and before long we had our limits of fish, all exceeding 3 pounds. The weather was absolutely perfecthttp://img79.imageshack.us/img79/5092/img0257600x450rv5.jpg

Tim Noxom is a great guide. He knows the lake really well and has a great boat and I would highly recommend him if you are interested in learning how to fish the lake. Gotta love that red meathttp://img106.imageshack.us/img106/2074/img0291600x450op8.jpg

Thanks for the report, nice fish.
How deep were you trolling???
I know Tim personally, & you couldn't ask for a nicer guy, plus he's a great guide. He will also tell you whats working & where to fish.
Going up the 10th, first time for a July trip 8-)

Hi Bob,
We were trolling 22-25 feet deep and about 100 feet behind the boat. What a beautiful lake.
