Went to Loon with GVF yesterday, couldn't buy a bite :-/ finally figured it out as the sun rose that there were millions and millions of mayfly''s taking their yearly swim. :D the fish were gorged on them and kept feeding all morning ;D no matter what we put out there the fish seemed to be happy with the mayfly's. We didn't have a chance ;D ;D Saw 2 guys in float tubes by the launch fly fishing and they were doing alright ;)

Ive found that when they are breaking the surface and wont take any lures a 12 gauge pump action works well to get them, just think skeet ;)

Mickey, are you sure your problem wasnt your boat buddy ;D
Everytime I fish with him, the fish seem to have lockjaw (just kidding Rich, I know how sensitive you are) ;D

TC, I have never thought of shotgun shells as lures before, now thats what I call thinking outside of the box ;D

I can see it now: The only North River on the water with fly rods in the back rod-holders and shotguns in the front rod-holders. ::)
