Sorry guys for the late report, but had errands and another fishing trip to go on today. *Anyway, took the family up to Paradise Lake (Magalia, CA) to fish and picnic for the day. *We started out using a dodger/grub setup on one rod and silver/black rapala w/scent on the other. *The grub had 2 good hits, but lost both fish. *After numerous short-strikes, we switched over to the fly-rods and sinking fly-lines. *Bam! (As Emeril would say) and we started getting hit every 10 minutes or so while slow trolling a beadheaded olive bugger. *Other colors were being successful as well, but nothing compared to the olive colored buggers. *All in all, we had about 35 hits ;D, boated 18 of them (releasing all), but mostly all dinky fish :'(. *Must get down deeper next time!
