As of just a couple weeks ago, those coho's were still really tiny. I heard that minnows at the inlets/end of the arms has yielded some bigger fish.

Best bet is Shasta right now, IMO.

according to Oroville Outdoors, there are bigger fish with some going 4-6 pounds. One guy I work with was there yesterday and got all 14" fish. On light tackle it should be fun.

Fished Oroville Saturday 27th for Coho and Trout. Very slow day. We fished minnows, trolled, and threw a few spoons and swims baits. 2 trout in the boat on minnows.

Everyone else I talked to out on the water had spotty results also.

Oh well, it sure wasn't for a lack of trying, we were on the water by ten and didnt' get off the water untill 9:30 pm.

Maybe next time.

Well, the trip was awesome!!! We found LOTS of salmon to catch. all over tha lake from the Green Hwy 162 bridge all the way to almost Lime Saddle. The best area was up the South Fork about 2 miles from the Green Bridge. The worst area was out infront of the dam. All the fish were the cookie cutter size of 10-12 inches but put up a great fight. The hot set up was a WHOLE 4-5 inch Anchovie behind a 1/0 Seps Silver Prizm Dodger. With those fish attacking a bait almost 1/2 ther size they will be VERY aggressive in the next few months, Other top producers were Crystal Basin Tackle Spinners in White, Seps Black Grubs with a Watermellon Sidekick. The water temp was 47.3 in the AM and 48.1 in the afternoon. All the fish came at 35-45' We tried top linning in the early AM but caught nothing. We got on the water at 0615 and were off at 1430 I think we saw 3 other boats fishng for Coho's
