Oxbow and I were on the water at 7 and Oxbow had the first fish on at 7:30. A 2.8# bow at 48ft on a silver crocodile.Oxbow got another 2.6 at 8:30 on the same setup. Then I hooked a 3.5# bow at 38 ft on a UV Apex with shad scent. We ended up with 4 and Oxbow had a nice one LDR
Off the water at 12:30. Another good Lake day with Oxbow.

Snoose, what part of the lake were you guys in. Between the darn and the spillway? Rose island?

Kokemachine, we got fish at the spillway and between the dam and Rose Island. It was very slow so we were covering a lot of ground.

:( Man I'm turning green. This teaching thing [smiley=appledancing.gif] is a great way to make a living but it sure can get in the way of an honest days fishing. Way to go guys...another luxury cruise [smiley=captjack.gif] that ended with fisn on board!!! [smiley=swimmingfish.gif]
Tight lines
Guess I'll have to do my usual Sunday Cruise.

The early morning water temp was just 69.6*, first time I've seen anything under 70* since spring so the fall season for some toplining is on the way but still more than a month out as my best guess. The lake is down a ways from releases and I expect a long walk up the main ramp by the time we can fish on top. The fish are apparently still scattered as we found no concentrations of note. I did see some small shad balls much more shallow than in recent trips but no large schools like last year so it's anyones guess as to how numerous the prey will be when the water finally cools. I would classify the bite as slow but edging towards moderate so it makes for a nice boat ride with a chance for a nice fish or two. It's always a nice day with good weather and good company aboard.
