Heading up to the Stan this weekend and I am looking for a good place to camp. Seclusion and good fishing is what we're looking for. I have heard good things about Kennedy Meadows. Anyone have any advice on where to camp and Fly fish the stanislaus or any of it's tributaries???

If you want seclusion Kennedys is NOT the answer-that place is crazy in summer. I do not know how you plan to camp ,but if you want to fish 108 I would suggest puuling over in a unimproved campsite(seclusion) and explore....Clarks fork is good,as is brighton bend, dardenell bridge, strawberry bridge,..all those places will produce but you will never be by yourself-only certain people know the TRUE secret spots 8-)

Guy ....
My family & I are going up to the 108 area in 2 weeks. I sure would love to see my son catch a Brookie or a Brown. Heck, I would love to catch anything. We will using spin reels throwing everything. If you would like to share your TRUE secret spots it would be very much appreciated. We are staying in Bridgeport so we will be coming in from 395.
Your welcome to send me a PM ... thanks!
