View Full Version : The road to Indian Valley Reservoir

I was thinking of making a "short" side trip on the way to see my dad this weekend, and Indian Valley is on the way.
Does anyone know if the road on the way in is in decent shape right now?
The last time I went a 2 years ago, it was real bad. My boat trailer has small wheels, and some of those ruts get real big...
Also any tips on what is working right now would be great.
Thanks in advance,

Lite Drag,

The road has washboards at almost every turn, but other than that and the dust it is fine ,if you take it slow. 8-)

See the kokanee board for fish report.

Thanks for pointing me to the koke board, I do believe if I go, I will definitely get a tarp.
When I last went it was raining, and I was finding mud for a month or more... I dont have time to clean my boat, cuts into the fishing time!
If I wind up going, I will let you know how it went, most likely will be there saturday early.
Look for the 12 ft. Klamath that is sitting low in the back... *;D * *

Went a few weeks ago and the road was recently graded. Dusty but no pot holes to deal with :)
