I'm camping up there sometime this weekend. I'll be on the bank. I'm thinking one pole with a floating worm off the bottom, and the other do a little fly fishin. And good scents/flies? I'll be on a quad so if there are any good spots that would be great also. Thanks guys, Mike.

Which Blue Lakes are you talking about Mike? I know the road off HWY 88 is still buried in snow, so that might make it a bit tough to get in.

If these are the lakes you're going to, any information when you get back would be great! I'm just waiting for the road to open so I can get in there!

Yeah, if you mean the Blue Lakes in Alpine county those are still buried under four feet of snow. Looks like they won't be clear until late June or July. *

The Blue Lakes off HWY 20 are open and a worm off the bottom or suspended should be fine.

THAT'S where the other Blue Lakes is. I always forget. :-/
