My Brother caught a grass cod that wasn't as big as that one but it was pushing 5lbs.
I didn't care for the taste of it and it was pretty boney. I will be tossing those back from now on.

The happy hooker always does a great job, The smith's are real fisherman, not just there to make a buck off ya.

The Grass Cod faught like a Ling Cod it was real hard to bring up on light gear.I caught it in 100ft of water west of the Golden Gate Bridge. We all got our limit of halibat and we picked up some Rock fish to.If you want to have alot of fun go out on the Happy Hooker out of Berkley Ca. :D
