Second hand information, but here it is. Talked to a georgetown-ite today and he said that the road is pretty clear, with a couple of "mild" 4wheel drive spots. so its probably a toss up with a boat trailer.

I talked to the Georgetown Ranger station yesterday afternoon and they said Wentworth Springs Rd is open to Stumpy and the boat Launch at Stumpy is now open. DFG's web site says Stumpy is on its plant list for the week of May 1st as well. Hope that helps...............

Went off flatlander time today 10:30-3:30. Missed one bite, caught one 12" planter. Ho-Hum, wish I would have went bass fishing. It was a zoo at least 15 boats on the water. Nobody obeys the speed limit. I was headin back doing the recomended 5mph when some ***hole went zingin past headed for the ramp at like 20. I was like: HMMMMM follow the rules are teah him a lesson?.... I went for the lesson and opened her up and beat him to the ramp, he had to wait. Ha ha. Saw a sniffer out there and talked to him, nice guy in a blue boat, but didnt see stars till after he had trolled on a ways. I was in the Tan and brown boat with two big guys and my skinny self. Hope you guys did well.
