Fished Saturday the 11th with Big Daddy's Guide Service on Lake Almanor. Tried to rip Rapalas early for the big boy's but weren't successful so switched to the downriggers and started having alot of action. Ended up catching 1 brown 20' and 4 rainbows 16'-20'. Also had 3 take downs that were missed. Caught them on all different baits from spinners to soft plastics. All in all it was a perfect day on the water and very informative. Bryan was a great guide and my dad and I had alot of fun with him and will definitely do it again. I would give him a high recomendation to anyone fishing in Plumas County.

Do you happen to remember the water temperature at Almanor? Thank you.

It was 36 degrees up from 34 the week before. Not exactly skiing weather although the lake was glass the whole day.

Bryan tends to fish the Plumas County lakes on rotation. He'll be at Almanor for a couple more months, then move to Davis in late April and May, then Eagle in early June and then spends the rest of the summer at Bucks lake.
