Munstermun, BigD and Hobbie II hit Camanche today at 7:15am with rain falling. Not the way we wanted to start our day. We all had ideas of partly cloudy and sunny in the afternoon. We all headed for the big island/dam area. My dad and I started off with a double in the first 20 min. Dads hit on orange/gold cripple lure and my hit on a black/gold rappala. Called BigD about an hour later he was 3 for 4 and we were 5 for 6. Munstermun was still trying to get that first fish in the box. About noon we all decided to move to the Launcha Plana area. We never found BigD, and later found out that he had got a call from home about a family emergency. Munstermun had one in the box at this time, my dad and I were 6 for 8 and that never changed. Munstermun managed to get two more in the box and at 3pm, now in T-shirts we headed to the cleaning station.

Super looking fish you guys! Glad you had a great day. I will try and match your catch tomorrow at Amador, now that I have a new battery for the Crestliner.

Hey Hobie - you are an awesome photagrapher. Sure glad you got a pic of the big one before(can mention what happened)!
Anyhow a great day overall. Next stop? Collins? Let's get MJK on board as well as with Big D. Should be fun. Hey I want Earl the pearls autograph too!

Panthermartin - not sure what you were riding in but it ended up a nice day. Sorry for the delay in the reply but a little busy the last couple of days. Let us know if you want to hook up sometime. Sounds as though you had a very productive day. Where else do you like to fish?

HobbieII, Earl the Pearl, Big D and Munman,

Fine looking fish! Are you sure you didn't stray a bit to the North and catch those out of Amador! Sounds like you outlasted the bad weather and we are all appreciative that you didn't prove it was a tee shirt afternoon! ;D Nice job....lets find some kokes that size!! When does the SS Kynard Turgid get launched? ;) I'm ready for Mai Tais on the poop deck! :D

Kokaneemart - count me in on the Mai Tais - on the poop deck? Kokanee is around the corner and the SSKynard is getting closer!
