View Full Version : Uncle's Amador report

01-31-2006, 06:30 PM
My uncle set out to Amador today after staying away for many years. He came by this past weekend and I marked some spots on a map and he was off. Called me tonight with a fresh report and said he launched aroud 10 and pulled out at noon. He had problems with his batteries and still managed three fish, the biggest going 4 pounds. The fish were caught in mountain spring 15 feet off the shore trolling orange grubs. Hope this helps any of you sniffers going out later this week.

Tracker, thanks for the report, sorry to hear that he had boat troubles :-/
He didnt happen to say whether he saw three old coots sinking their boat out there today did he?
Mickey, HH3 and Dennis were out there today and called with a report, but havent seen a post, just wondering if we should call out the coast guard for them, on second thought, maybe we should give it a bit more time, what do you think? a week, or two should do the trick ;D
J/K guys.
I hope this doesnt deter your dad from going back Tracker.
