View Full Version : Amador 11-19-05 Morning

Did the Amador thing Saturday morning. Brought a buddy that has only fished it once before and didn't catch anything. With fished from about 6:00-11:00 off the dock. I C&R about 70, and kept 5 of the bigger ones. My buddy C&R about 30 and kept his 5 as well. An added note, my buddy picked up 2 nice crappie on powerworms :o. Hot baits were powerworms and eggs ;).

hey mike, how do you fish with power worms? I fish amador a lot but only troll. any info would help, because my wife and I are going monday am and she likes to fish with bobbers...go figure. thanks in advance, flasher.

Fish them weightless or with a small bb shot. *Let them sink really really really slow. *I'm not sure about trolling with them. *I'd say mark a big school, stop the boat and split shot the powerworm down to them and your almost guaranteed a hookup. Be on your toes though, caught the bite for the last month has been really light. Watch your line as it sinks. If it does anything unatural besides gradually sinking your getting a hit.

Nah, there still the same 2-4ish # fish. No bigguns yet, but makes for constant fun
