View Full Version : PyramidFest II *-- Rib Fest + Lecture Photos

10-08-2005, 01:31 PM
I'd like to thank the PyramidFest II committee for organizing this years successful event.**After a hard day of fishing, everyone was looking forward to meeting new friends, eating great food, and learning more about fishing.

Here are some pictures of the PyramidFest II fishsniffers enjoying ribs, camaraderie, and the fishing presentations.**

The dinner was held in the Crosby's Lodge VIP tent and began at 6:00PM and ended at 10:15PM.**After the dinner and presentations, Brad Stout kindly donated some great door prizes that were handed out to the lucky winners.

An updated list with the photo number and member names is at the bottom of this post.**I could not remember everyones screen name so please help me out by PMing me who I've missed.

P.S.**Those orange tags that everyone is wearing are part of a new experimental fishsniffer tagging program.**Biologists are tracking the life cycle of fishsniffers and are trying to determine the number of fishsniffers that successfully return to Sniffer fests.

RR - Thanks for the photos and putting some names to faces. Does make me feel like I'm up at Crosby's. Too bad I couldn't make it. One of these years I'll hit a snifferfest. Until then...

Thanks for the pics and names, RR. I can't wait to hear the stories, see the pics, etc. from those who went.

Good job RR, I just got home and cleaned up and now I'm ready for some dinner ;D It was a great time and by far the biggest event that sniffers have attended. Met many old friends and many, many new ones ;) The "bomb fire" and pot luck was a blast and after I get my camera out of the boat I'll post a few pictures too. All I can say that the ones who didn't make it should have ;D Best fest ever 8) Oh #9 is TROUTKING. And I forgot to say that the fishing was great too. ;) More to follow. 8)

Great to have seen you Ken. That was fun with all of us fishing the same areas and all hooking up. Especially w/ the radios. That food last night was tremendous. Great salmon Mickey. I ate my fill ;D My buddy Mike had never fished Pyramid before, and these were the biggest trout he had ever caught. Needless to say we had a great time.

Nice job RR. I'm impressed you were able to keep track of so many names. Sorry I kept blinking at the flash - it's a nasty reflex of mine. After several glasses of wine I'm too slow to blink at the flash anymore so I'll drink faster next time ;D My wife, kids, and I all enjoyed the food. The seminar was great and the raffle was a nice touch. Thanks to all of you who put in so much effort to put on a fantastic event. We had a great time.

Great dinner Ken I thought Brad did a great job and of course Doc always does a wonderful job. It would have been nice to have everyone introduce themselves there was a lot of face that I have never seen. Reno great job on the pictures ;)

The dinner was great but maybe next year Doc could speak on a topic that applies to the weekend that we are there. ;D Just kidding Doc! Anyone else from the seminar still bitter that BS's 7 year old daugher has caught bigger fish than we have or in my case, ever will? :( Personally, I think the dinner was even better than the bombfire as a way to meet each other and put faces to the names. IT WAS GREAT!

Hey all. The ribs were good and the speakers were better. Thanks to Doc, Ken and Brad you guys were all good speakers and very informative. Also Beverly? had a very good presentation. I hope to put all that information to good use. Thanks to all for putting on a good event.

And yeah Chick I'm jealous that Brad's 7 year old catches bigger trout than my stripers and sturgeon. ;D

10-10-2005, 09:43 AM
oops I guess Hinrid said that.

I could not remember everyones screen name so please help me out by PMing me who I've missed.
I should have made this a contest with a fabulous prize to the fishsniffer who could guess the most screen names.

Please PM me with the names I've missed.

Note to self:**Next time I'll bring a note pad and write down the sniffer's name and picture number immediately!**

Or better yet, I should have made up "Stinkin' Badges" with everyones' Screen Name, Real Name, & AVATAR!**I promise to do this for the next Fest I attend.

And yeah Chick I'm jealous that Brad's 7 year old catches bigger trout than my stripers and sturgeon. ;D

I get blamed for everything ;D
There was a woman on the dock Sunday that fell off the dock cant blame me I was on the water already ;D

10-10-2005, 11:23 AM
As soon as I saw her go over, I started looking around for you. ;D
