Take I-80 towards Reno, merege on to highway 65. Take it into Marysville, and get on to highway 70 towards Chico. Take a left on to highway 162 which will hook you up with highway 99. Go north on 99 to Chico, take the highway 32 exit towards Chester/Susanville. 32 will dead end into 36, take a right on 36(east) and that will take you past lake Almanor all the way to the turn off for Eagle which is about 3 miles before Susanville. The turn off is a marked left hand turn on to county road A-1.14 miles on A-1 gets you to the South end and the Marina. Hope this is clear enough. I have found that this is the fastest, and nicest way to go from Roseville.

It probabally be right around 200 miles or so, without a boat it will take about 4 hours. Be prepared for some windy roads on 32, but is is so beautiful this time of year(Along deer creek canyon, the strectch bewteen chico and highway 36)

It is probably easier to come over to Reno and go up HWY 395 to Susanville.

It is easier to come in 395, but the way I drive comming up through chester via 32 & 36 has been fsater(when towing a boat) the distance is shorter, and with or without a boat you can only do 55mph most of the way.

But yes 395 wihtout a boat would be just as fast, and eaiser.
