Went up to Sugar Pine this morning to escape the heat and relax on a 5 mph lake. (No lake lice) ;D Water temperature was 78.5 throughout most of day. We only managed one planter on Vance's white and green slammer with a worm, but the lake was beautiful. I can't wait to head back there in the fall or early spring. Great day to be on the water!

Sugar Pine is a very nice lake, I have only been there once in late spring. Sugar Pine is a very beautiful lake for sure. I also only caught planters but the view is worth a skunkage if one were to actually happen to me. HAHAHA

SugarPine is a great lake- but terrible spiders.
I got bit not once, but twice- by what initially appeared to be a brn rec. bite- turned out to not be the brn recluse- but the bite still ulcerated to about 2" wide and 1/4" deep...and spent a few hrs in the ER from it- So when going down a trail...be careful!!!
