Fished the evening bite at UVR. Arrived about 5:30. Caouldn't get the boat in the water until about 6pm. I took about 30 mins to scout the lake. Checked out the Sunset area and the Spillway. Not marking any fish. Water temp 76.

Started trolling Sunset area. First fish on at 7:30. Lost it. Another fat koke bit about 20 mins later. Boated it. Lost 2 more by 8:30 and no more bites until about 9:00 when I packed it in.

Great evening. Wind was up when I got there but settled down shortly after.

Gee FishCrazed, I would have come up to meet you if you'd let me know ;) Well maybe not but it's good to hear you still found some Kok's, I might try it tomorrow if I can talk Hammer into getting out of bed so we can get an early start ::)

The evening fishing was a nice alternative to getting up at 4am :) Maybe thats more Hammers style :)

I would definately start at Sunset point, thats where I marked alot of fish last week at 49 feet. The bite was slow and I did see some tiny trout come out at the pipes around 20-25 feet. It was our first camping trip and fishing trip there so I don't have the lake exactly dialed in yet.
Good luck

Sometimes you just gotta use the ole' sick time. "Sick of coming to work." I call in and tell them I'm taking a mental health day, I think I feel one coming on soon. ;D
