Fished the peninsula from 0510-0830. Bites started happening around 0545 to the angler to my right. I got my first bite at 0700, a DFG plant gut-hooked and kept. Saw several anglers catch DFG size plants but a few bigger ones between 3-5 pounds. Caught my limit by 0830 as well as to two other anglers with a big ones on each of their stringer. I should of brought my kids since this was the most action I've seen there even though the catches are small.
Met fishingguysf there too. Nice to meet you. Hope you had luck catching another whopper like last time. Until next time Fish On!

BTF ~ the fish were biting on either pb or pe/pw combo white worm and green/yellow eggs.

Well done Youngling . Thanks for posting. I'll have to get out there one of these days. It's just a little to crowded for me.

Youngling is still dialed. Congrats nice day, no work and I will be trout fishing Monday. Might go to Ralphine since there were still a lot of fish last week, but if it is Chabot or Quarry we got to get LIF out there and erase our triple skunk from the other day.

Matt, great meeting you out there too. You guys had the hot spot! I went 2 for 4 today. My gf was 0 for 1, should of had the fish, but it came off when she pulled it out of the water. All DFG planters. Had things to do, so we did not stay for the evening bite, left by 4:15pm. One of these days, I will have to wake up even earlier to meet you out there at 5:00am. I like how there was no wind in the morning, compare to afternoon & evening fishing. Until next time.....

B-Ran~ No doubt eggs will work alone. I see a few anglers just use eggs alone.

Congrats YL. Thanks for sharing the latest Quarry report and pics. That's an awesome day of fishing. I can't wait to have one of those days...

GN, I would love for YL and I to get that skunk off our backs from Chabot. This week is a bad week for me because the kids are out of school so I have babysitting duties. But next week might be better. I'll PM you and YL on my availability.

YL, way to go on the limit of fish at Quarry, and FISH ON:biggrin:!!!
