Got to Bon Tempe a little after 9 and it was partly cloudy with some blue skies.

I put out a pole with orange power bait and as I was getting ready to put the bobber on I saw the pole get a tap tap. Lifted and set the hook and brought a 14 inch 1 pound fish in. 1 minute=1 fish. Not a bad start.

Casted out a bluefox lure with my other pole and got a few bumps. About 20 minutes after getting my line back in the water I saw the bobber start to dance a little so set down my lure rod and set the hook. 30 minutes 2 fish, this one was a little smaller. Put on some more orange power bait and casted out. About 10 a.m. I caught my first trout on a lure of of here which was about 1/2 a pound. Hooked in the mouth so I let her go.

One day about a month ago I had hooked and lost a few on a gold castmaster, I also had seen Marin Paul's report that he and his son had caught trout with this lure, so guess what I put on. At 11 I got my 2nd trout on a lure and last fish for the day which was barely hooked and small so I just gave the fish some slack near shore and it easily came off. With the sky dark grey and pouring rain I called it a day a little after 11. Not a bad day 4 fish caught, 1 kept and my first 2 on lures in a little under 2 hours.
Bon Tempe was stocked yesterday, Tuesday the 27th with 1000 lbs. of 1/2 pound fish. I fished the meadow area over the bridge which crosses the creek from Lagunitas.
