View Full Version : Bon Tempe vs. Lagunitas vs. Phoenix

I went out to Bon Tempe threw a KM around for about an hour. No bites. Seems like the water is still cold for a surface lure.

I want to get my skunk off. Anyone been out to any of these lakes lately. Location, bait, time, depth? Ive limited out a few times at phoenix but bon tempe is always on the fishing reports. Any help would be sweet.

Ya, I saw some nice deep water points hiking around Bon Tempe. I will give her a try with some PB this weekend.

Lagunitas is managed as a trophy fishery..........it's success is highly debatable! I dont think they plant Phoenix anymore, but it contains some BIG bass.........Bon tempe is the only one managed as a conventional put and take trout fishery........year in and year out, fishing across the dam, where water is pumped up from Alpine seems to produce a lot of fish.
