Looking to do some Butt fishing this year in earnest.
Need the coordinates for Punta Gorda reef near Shelter Cove .
Charts I have are not showing it.
Trying to download info into gps
Any help would be appreciated.

Eric I've been wanting to make that run too. *I followed the Rumplefish once last year as far as Rockport before the lump made me change my mine and fish a little closer to port, *I just need the right conditions for the haul. *I'll look up the numbers and send them to you.........

I have never fished for halibut before (although that is my goal this summer) but has anyone ever tried for 'buts off of ten mile? In my ignorance, it seems like the perfect place for them. I am sure there are bigger and better halibut up north but I just haven't heard of anyone going for anything other than salmon, rockies, or the occasional tuna out of Fort Bragg. It just seems to me there have to be a lot of other species that would be fun to catch there.

Click on Nautical Charts and find your reef. The GPS coords will be displayed on the left.
