I bought a jig last year and couldn't find them around the local fishin stores so I decided to make a few of my own.. Rock Cod Killer *(RCK)

Now THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT! I saw you bustin big @ss RF on that rig last year and I got some lead heads to make some up. What size hootchies you use for that and how hard is it to squeeze the hottchie over the leadhead?

What's the max size lead head jig you can use. I'm guessing about 2 to 3 oz.?

I used 2 or 3 ounce lead heads and medium size hoochies, and some spit on the leadhead to slid them on.. I would like to make some bigger ones like 4 or 5 onces, next trip to FW !! ;) U gotta take the lead heads to the hoochies section and match them up size wise and then take that over to the scampi section and match up you hoochie to your scampi...

Those are nice Sam. I did the same a couple of years ago but didn't use the scampi. At FW they have some pretty big hoochies it's just a matter of finding big enough jigheads that don't have rounded heads.

Sweet! Those are the same rigs all of the charter boats are using in Alaska! The Orange over white and the green over black seem to be the two most popular. They are starting to use red or red/white over a red split tail as well.

Ya right, I got lead jigs from 3oz to 13 oz,sometimes you have a very fast drift and you have to go heavy
