Toplined various rapalas for 14 takes 10 to the boat. Oddly enough all but 3 of the strikes came from the main body of the lake. Spent about 2 hours working the shoreline with only 3 takes 1to the boat. Noticed several of the float tubers doing well outside of me trolled out to main body and stayed reel busy for the rest of the day. Launched at 8:30 off the water about 2:30 water temp 49-51 degrees , 1.3-1.7 sog
Hot steel and gold/black tiny weewart both produced well, my set back was 175/200 ft.

That is pretty good! I'm sure you will get one that is tagged soon! We have been high and dry for over 12 weeks now! We are looking forward to get back on the water. Waiting till Pardee starts up I think. Good fishing to ya!

Thanks for the intel Fitz. I'm planning to take my little ones to Amador before the Super Bowl, weather permitting. I would love for them to "get hooked". No better excuse to the wife for fishing than .."but Honey, its for the kids". :cool2:
