View Full Version : Other Clams

Mining for those Horseneck clams in the Lawson's Landing thread is way too much work for me. Digging Razor Clams in the surf is a little easier, but my favorite type of clam digging is for Cockles, Butter Clams and hard shell clams like Little Necks, or Manilla Clams.

I have dug lots of these types of clams in Oregon and Washington, but the only clams I have ever dug in California have been Pismo, Razor, and Horsenecks.

Anyone know where, along our coast, I can get these other smaller easier to dig varieties?
