View Full Version : Chucker T replicas in Pyramid Colors

02-08-2012, 02:27 PM
Just finished a batch of Chucker T Spoon replicas painted in Pyramid colors. Will be at the Pyramid tournament Feb. 11-12 if anyone is interested checking them out. Will be staying at Crosby Lodge. You can PM me for contact info. Will be doing another batch in whites, reds, and blues tonight. Large are 5", smaller are 3.75". The big ones are great for stripers and salmon too. Sorry for the image quality. Lot of shine to these lures thus a lot of glare.

Are those stamped or lazer cut ????
Nice job.

Laser cut and then pressed in a mold I made to give the shape. The painting is killing me. A lot of drying time and repeating coats. Working on a bunch of shad patterns now. I've been fishing a great prototype (the originals by Chucker himself) for about 20 years but you just can't get them anymore. Needed more for my collection so decided to have a large batch run to make the price feasible for myself. Don't think I will be doing many repeat batches. Just too much time involved.

Very nice.
If you have any un painted blanks laying around
there are some rainbows in PineFlat that would love to eat one or 3.
Speedy shiners are somewhat simliar no concave though.

Took a 5.7 lb cutthroat at the Pyramid tourney this weekend on the 5" green Chucker T. The guys I was fishing with said that wouldn't place so we threw it back. Turns out that fish would have been in 4th as of about noon yesterday. Big bummer. Caught 20 on saturday and couldn't scratch a bite on sunday.
