Never fished this lake but may be heading up with friends one day this weekend. Leaving the boat behind becuz 8 people in a 12ft just doesnt sound appealing. Although, if someone else wants to try it and let me watch Id be happy to. Any suggestions on where to fish from shore?

You can fish the pond if you are going to south shore. Also down in the cove to the left of the launch ramp at south shore.

I'm thinking about taking my dad out with me tomorrow and this is one of the spots I'm debating about going to. Are the trout biting? I wonder if Amador will be better? I'm trying I avoid opening weekend at Predee I'm sure that spot will be über crowded.

Any reconditions for Comanche ?

Since south shore has been mentioned, north shore is popular as well from the bank. Here is a popular area all along this point (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=38.231084,-120.949584&hl=en&ll=38.230014,-120.948883&spn=0.006506,0.011201&num=1&t=h&z=17)(zoom out to see how to get there). I haven't been there in a month or so so can't comment on the current fishing.

Please report how it goes for us. Good or bad.

Thanks,
