Seon and I decided to give the Salmon a shot out the gate, so I got up around 0130 to meet up at our usual spot in Lodi and head our way to Berkeley. The first thing I noticed is the addition of a T-8 kicker ( I should have known). Anyway , we get to the launch ramp around 0530, get things squared away and were off. A little lumpy going out as usual, the plan was to head to W buoy, but when we got to Point Bonita all the boats were heading north, so after a short discussion we decided to follow. It looked like they were heading to Point Reyes (didnít want to make that long run)so we stopped by Duxbury buoy and dropped them in. The first time using the kicker so Seon tries to figure it out

Nothing there, so we turn and go toward N buoy, get there, a few boats are in the area but there was a lot of jelly there. Kept moving to get out them but it didnít happen, so back to Dux. We gave it another shot for the same results. We gave the Rockies a try and I got a flounder WOO HOO!

By this time were starting to get bummed out. We headed toward the gate and decided to give Bonita cove a try.

So we decided to pull the plug, and head to the barn.
After some discussion we decided the next trip to the salt will be to Bodega if the wind ever lays down.
Thanks again Seon, it still trumps staying home!
