Launched at 6 AM and headed to the Whistle Buoy. We dropped in 25 feet down OTW. First fish on within a half hour on watermellon apex. The bite slowed a little so we worked some different gear and ended up with krippled chovie rigs being the best. My buddy was a lttle under the weather from the get go so I had to rig the lines, drive the boat, read the finder, check gear for grass, bait the lines and real the fish in. At least my buddy was a good net man. We ended up with limits of 20 + pound fat piggy's, farmed 7, realeased about a half dozen around 20-24". Talked to a guy at the ramp in a Osprey and hey got 2 at 35 pounds.
