    Re: getting old

Yep, gave up in about 2003 and bought some readers. Worst part of it is, I couldnít remember to bring them along. Now I have at least a dozen pairs and theyíre everywhere.
  4. Re: Anyone know of any lakes that might have a sturgeon or two swimming around?

There are sturgeon in Lake Chabot. Only been a few caught since the lake opened in the Ď60ís.
  5. Re: Anyone have any information or experience with San Leandro Reservoir

Itís not open now and never has been. We got dropped off on Redwood Rd once, I think it was about 1968, and hiked down there with a couple boxes of nightcrawlers. Caught a bunch of bass. Nothing...

Re: Highway 1 and 101 Trout? (Norcal basically)

Any place that sells fishing licenses should have steelhead report cards.
  9. Re: Looking for information on the trout found in San Leandro and San Antonio Reservo

San Antonio Res. is owned by San Francisco Water District and access is prohibited. The creeks that flow into it run across private property owned by ranchers so they have never (at least as long as...
  10. Re: Looking for information on the trout found in San Leandro and San Antonio Reservo

About 30 years ago, for about 15 years, I had access to a large ranch above San Antonio Reservoir. If we got some good rain in March and April, two creeks that flowed into the reservoir, La Costa and...
