    Sutter Creek, Amador County

    Anybody tried fishing Sutter Creek (the creek itself, not the town)? It roughly parallels Sutter Creek-Volcano Road, and in places looks damn fishy, but I've never tried it.

    Try dunking dough balls or almost any kind of worm at Mather Lake. If you set up near the playground, the kids can knock themselves out on the play structures if they get bored of fishing.
