Yeah. I've see them shoot them out in the water and as being pulled out, as well as in people's buckets. April through July are coastal months for me if I want Perch. Bodega Head (although not sure if closed now) , Doran, Salmon Creek, Stillwater Cove all have Perch to be caught off rocks or in the surf. Not sure what months are best for those at those places, but I've caught perch at all of them.

Perch is closed inside the GG Bridge from April 1st to July 31st due to spawning, but you can fish for them outside the Gate. You can't specifically target them, but you can catch them by "accident". For example, you're targeting midshipmen or rockfish and happen to catch some perch. Just don't get caught with them.

All the places SF21 said, have perch but you have to look for the holes that they are holding. Sometimes it could be a matter of 5 feet to the left or right.

I personally have seen and caught big rockfish. In alameda never caught any "big" perch but I have caught some decent size. Big perch is like big bluegill I'm sure most people probably won't spot name lol

Isn't it out of season within bay waters?

Either way Alameda Rock wall, Berkley Pier, Treasure Island, the Race track.
