This is a great home or camping recipe. When camping, this is even great over some instant mashed potatoes.

Beef & Gravy

2 to 3 pounds of stew meat.
1 can beef broth
1 pkg. Knorr leek onion soup
1 tsp minced garlic
1 pkg McCormick Brown Gravy Mix
1/2 tsp Kitchen Bouquet
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup cold water
1 small bay leaf; Optional.

Add beef broth, soup mix, gravy mix and garlic to crock pot. After blending initial ingredients, add meat and cook on high for 1 hour and then lower to low for a remain 5 hours. Remove bay leaf. When meat is tender, gravy can be thickened by mixing flour, Kitchen Bouquet and cold water and adding to the crock pot. Turn heat back up to high for another 30 minutes and then serve over a mountain of your favorite mashed potatoes.
