    Well said!

For people just starting out I would recommend a size 4 or 2 hook, two orange or red 4mm beads, and 12-15# leader about the same length as the rod you're using. Get some casting in before you go longer on the leader for everyone's safety LOL As a general rule, smaller beads early in the season and larger beads towards the end of the season. Your hook and bead combo should be proportional to each other.
    Fishing, it's cheaper than therapy!

    Fish find them easier.
    And don't believe anyone else.

Or maybe red, or black, or green. Orange work well also.
Don't use circle hooks. I did that one day and didn't realize why I could hook anything.

Sorry. The "fish find them easier" gave me a good chuckle.

Yep. Hooked a few of them with my own nail polished beads under the float with the center pin. And a couple who wouldn't leave my roe alone steelhead fishing.

There's a milky color bead that salmon will slam the s%#! out of. Can't never remember the name but they work.

MienAce anytime you bring up beads and the AR your gona lots jokes all in good fun from most and so far this is civil and no popcorn needed. Just get some like was mentioned already 4 2 and mabey 1's hooks even if flows are high with some 4mm 6mm and 8mm with a spool of 12 pound leader and some 1 ,1 1/2 , 2 Oz cannon balls and your good to go. And yes Mr crabs I love bacon.
