    Went out to Blue Lakes area this last Sunday for some snowboarding in the morning and found this on a small creek on the snowline when I was done.
    All the lakes out there are full as expected.

    Going to be up on 88 tomorrow. Going to hit the W. Carson. If it's slow I might wander up to Blue.

    Caples is fishing really good. I've seen some photos of really big fish from a friend who's been hammering it the last 2 weeks.

    I was at Red lake, & Caples, recently neither of which were producing much. I did see some decent ones swimming at the caples damn. Silver lake has limited access from the bank, this may make all the difference with it being summer & there being lots of people, traffic, & fishing pressure.

    Red and blue as well as Merkleyville are right up there. I have never had much luck at Silver myself and Caples has been hit or miss for me to

    HWY 88/89 lake action?

    Heading near Tahoe up the Immigrant Trail in about a week and a half. Dragging the boat and looking for good trout/kok fishing for the family. Planning on hitting the Kirkwood area lakes... Caples and Silver. Anyone have a report or suggestion on the action? Any other area lakes worth a look?
