Does anyone have any real world reviews on any of these? I am tempted to buy. The fact they work on top of the water means much less chance you will lose one.

Thank you very much for the video!I will try and pick one up and give it a shot.
I do make my own lures topwater, crankbaits and jerkbaits i have had good success
with them cheap to make and very gratifying when you get a hook up.
I`m just finishing up on this one for a friend i met on the San Joaquin gave me some great tips.

I have a shop filled with vintage craftsman tools from the
60`s band saw, drill press, disk and beltsanders, jig saw, table saw, router
and various hand tools. You dont really need all that a dremel jig saw and
belt sander you can get the job done.

I just used an old shovel handle for stock.
I cut the body in half and chisel out a small chamber
and fill it with pro-cure scent about a fourth of a small
squeeze bottle pack it real tight so it doesnt wash all out
then when the lure is all finished i drill 6 1/64th holes into the chamber
on one side of the lure the holes are small enough to emit the scent
but not big enough for water to get in and wash the scent out.I have used
the bait over and over as soon as it hits the water you can see the scent trail in the water.

Another great bait that cost less than DWB are Donkey Fishing Custom lures. I picked them up @ 40 bucks a piece, but I also bought a half-dozen. The finish on these baits great - killer paint jobs and generous, durable coats of epoxy. also has beveled edge for the front hook hole which I think is a great touch no hard edge to chip. Every bit as good or better than anything I've thrown and you'll save a few bucks.

If it were me, I'd give up on because I couldn't charge enough to make up for my time and expense. Approximately 2-3 hours production time for a single bait, depending. In reality, the margins are pretty thin.
