Re: Old school Silvertron spinners still work for me
18-24 inch dropper, 3-4 foot leader. Glad I could help. I’ve noticed people are so tight lipped around here trying to get an answer to a simple question can be extremely difficult.

65 feet back, 3 oz weight, 15-20 feet of water 1.8-2.5 mph depending on current. Your weight will bounce consistently and a steady slow bounce of the rod tip. It takes practice and their is a learning curve but not to bad. Their everything you need to know.

Wednesday, Nov. 1st my buddy and I trolled from Miller to Garcia and caught a nice chrome 16 pound female. Water temperature was 62, 4 oz dropper, 3.0 mph, 50 to 60 feet setback, using Silvertron spinners. Beautiful day on the Sacramento River. I think the fun is just beginning!
