Jump the cilinoid with a short piece of wire. You can also turn the motor over by hand and then try the starter again. Its been one of my quick and dirty tricks to get a bit more life out of a starter. If that doesn’t work pull the starter and make sure it works.

A slight smak with the hammer handle might get it to start spinning, solenoid might be dirty from many start cycles.
Or pull it out and check the wiring connections, see if loose or corroded.
The clicking might be the starter relay, unplug and re installed to see if it gets better connection

It won't turn over PLEASE HELP

Yesterday everything went well and we even caught fish.
At the end of the day for some reason i shut the motor off
and when i went to start it nothing but the beep.We ended up
paddeling back to the boat ramp.
I tried to start it this morning, nothing.
Thinking it was the battery i bought a new one and
still nothing,Im getting power to everything else.
The motor is a 2002 mercury 60 EFI 4 stroke.
With the cover off the motor i am hearing a slight clicking
noise from a small box in front of the starter.Im thinking that this
may be a starter silinoid? There are black and red cables that go from
    this box to the starter.
Would or does anyone have any ideas or thoughts what the
problem could be.I would be greatfull for any kind of advise or help.
    Bob
