    Re: Buying Lobster

    Reminds me of a true story that happened to me. When I was a kid around age 16 I heard this advertisement on tv where you could get 100 great hits (rock n roll) by the original artists for about $10. Ten dollars was a lot of money to me back then but this was a great deal. They played samples of many of the songs, sounded great and all by the original artists. Plus limited time they threw in an additional 25 hits/songs. Unbelievable deal, I could not pass it up. I sent for it. Arrived a couple weeks later. Started playing these great songs but they didn’t sound like the artists/bands that originally sang them. They didn’t sound that great at all. They sounded like crap. A little closer inspection and I found that the name of the group that sang all the songs on the records I got was called, are you ready? They were called - The Original Artists. It was a band in the Philippines named The Original Artists. I learned many valuable lessons from that. So remember The Original Artists can have different meanings.

    while I'm here;
    just bought two "Fresh" not frozen lobsters at Save-Mart two days ago.
    They were soft and hard to work with.

    I prefer the twin frozen pak at Raley's better..........
    for ease of getting the meat from the shell.

    later.
    Walmart had them in a tank in most stores for a while but that went away because of the cost. Costco has them once in a while, but Sam's club also has frozen one's sometimes......Jetspray

    Buying Lobster

    Anyone every buy seafood on the roadside?

    Well my wife and I were driving home when I read a sign, “Lobster Tail $10”. Heck I thought that was a very fair price so I stopped and paid.

    The guy took my money and started, “Once a upon a time there was this Lobster....” .
