    F*** this state.
Just another reason why I moved here to be closer to my family in Nevada (California lite). Our Leader "Sissy Stick" will probably pass something to make them all "feel better" and more laws that can't be enforced on the rule books. I hear that there are more tax payers leaving than coming in presently to California....Jetspray

I don't think this is true....

I did a google search and can't find the law.

All I can find is that a bill has been introduced.

Plus the dates don't match up in the "warning"

Last I read was the proposed Bill was changed to banning lead sinkers under 50 grams.

The rationale is that birds ingest the small lead sinkers and the birds and predators die of lead poisoning.

    50 28.34 = 1.764 oz.

Can't find anything that says the proposal was passed or effective date.

BTW, California isn't the only State considering this and some States have already banned lead jig heads and sinkers under 1oz.

I'll still use them until they come to my house and site people fishing the Upper Truckee River. When I call Cal Tip which is an absolute JOKE it always takes the game warden at least two hours to call back. I even told the game warden that called back two weeks ago that I was going to start fishing it because they don't do a f###ing thing about it and I'm sick and tired of calling to do the right thing and nothing gets done about it.

Well, don't they have to catch you first ?

I don't think there are that many law officers.

    Me bad but............ Hay.

They don't care about poachers or over limits or no licenses ?

    Give me a break.
