Word is that they planted 800 lbs on each of the east and west carson's on Thursday and I imagine bigger one's closer to hwy 4 past Marklleeville. They put 200 lbs in the silver creek area too. Walker's were planted from below pickle meadows to past the town of Walker. Good Luck out there and nice shots Richard......Jetspray

Friday up on the West Carson.

Jeff and I took a short morning trip up to the West Carson. In a week or so the river has come down a lot and it is in near perfect shape. We fished early across from Sorensens. Using small plastics we got 10 trout. Jeff added one more trout at the bottom of the canyon. Nothing big but good fighters. These were fish provided by Alpine county. California hasn't stocked these waters much this year. It was chilly in the morning but turned nice by the time we left for home at 0930. Thanks for the ride Jeff.
