Most fishermen on here are good folks, that's why they post here. Cal is a good guy, welcome to fish with me any day and I don't mind if he keeps a few fish for the plate.

If a third of the fish you release die then you are definitely doing something wrong. The kill rate for even the most gingerly treated fish that I have found is 3% for the best rate and 10% for the worst.

So ya, I won't be listening to your tripe.

I di. When I get my next SS and pension deposits, I'm going to Stumpy Meadows, not far from ol' Cal ahe he's welcome to bring his float tube, one ultralight rig (4'6" rod, UL 1000 or smaller reel (his rigs he uses for trout are laughable, talk about meat hunting, probably good on Pyramid but on French Meadows, he's using a Howitzer).

He can even bring his howitzer of a fish finder. I'll have my Striker 4. We'll see who makes more fish bleed to death.

Seems like it's become fashionable to be offended.

    Lighten up
Cal is a good fisherman, and from the standpoint of meat hunting, he's very very good. But for catch and release, he doesn't know whether to sh*t or go blind. There, I said it.
