Go through Makleeville and past the Monitor pass turnoff. I think it is the last bridge before Hwy 4 connector. You fish just before you get to the bridge, they put the fish in from the bridge....Jetspray

Ah yes, the old "Honey Hole"..........................

Nice to see that you all got to hook into some mighty fine looking trout.

They should do well on the smoker.

The water level still looks good for this time of year.
    Enjoy.

East Carson 10/25. Cold, Clear and Fishy.

Jeff, JB Fishing, and I arrived at the East Carson River at 0800. The sky was clear with the temps in the mid 20s. We fished 4 hours for 16 trout to 3.5#. The fish came on small plastics. Fall is advancing fast with the colors a little past prime but still beautiful. Jeff invited 5 of the nicest fish home to visit his smoker. Happy Nevada Day everyone. Thanks for hanging with me Jeff.

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish. -- Ovid
