Rooster Tails should work. Pinch the barbs. That being said the weather is going to be a bit nasty.

Re: Closing the East Carson 11/15/19

Sorry for continuing to post on this, but it looks like its going to snow starting Tuesday up that way and it's supposed to continue until thursday. I've got chains for my sedan, but wondering if anyone thinks it's actually worth it to go fish by Hangman's or if someone has a better recommendation for lower elevation stream/river fishing? I don't mind fishing in the rain or snow at all (I actually love it). I still really want to get up there any fish, just not sure if they may close off roads or Highway 88 getting up there.

I know a lot of you live up that way and a guy coming from the Bay Area, I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks again!

Is there a reason why the Carson above Hangmanís and up to the 88/89 change is closed? Do they do this to allow the fish to spawn?

Sent my brother up there a few weeks ago because I see you guys fishing that way and he had great success too

I always find it interesting even if your C&R only and canít fish. Just curious.

Hangman's Bridge is less than 2 miles downstream from the Carson River Resort. You can fish from there all the way down to the Nevada border.

Just check the regs at the website for California they have any information on where you wish to go. I always did that before hitting anywhere when I lived in California...Ö...Jetspray
