Re: Chilling at Topaz. Colder and slower.

Nice photos but the weather was too chilly for my liking.

I swear that was the fish that broke me off in the early morning.

Chilling at Topaz. Colder and slower.

Jeff Bovero and I arrived on the West shore of Topaz Lake at 0645. We were fishing the same area that we fished on the opener. A different kind of day. The skies were clear and the temps in the mid to upper teens. Early on there was a slight breeze from the SE that ebbed just after sun up. We got four fish for the morning. Most coming early on. The fish came on Gulp. Again they were mostly nice holdover bows. Off the water at 1130. Thanks for the ride Jeff. We'll do it again if the weather stays nice.

    Beautiful, Chilly Topaz.
