Have you gone out recently? Haven’t taken my boat out in a while.

Probably an incidental catch on the anchor in SPB.

Well, unfortunately for the wife and I, the trip was canceled by the guide the day before the trip due to an unexpected death in the family. We already had reservations for a hotel in San Fransisco for the weekend that we couldn't change dates on, so we just spent the weekend visiting the area. We have been in contact with the guide since then who has expressed his deepest apologies for having to cancel and working out a date in the near future to take us out for halibut. He said unless something changes soon, the sturgeon has been tight lipped, which was our goal. We have caught halibut before, but not in the bay, so that is a big plus. I'll gladly post after our trip.

I never have but now scheduled to go with a guide in two weeks into the bay to chase sturgeon and halibut. I'll let you know how that goes.
