Re: Englebright 1/25

Ok OK but there is fish in the lake.... Last year we caught several that had to be native fish to the lake, to small of a fish to have such great looking fins. And there is no way they could have grown out the fins so fast. I did hook up some planters but also some hold overs or native fish .. Either way I'm going back. I had to good of a time, plus that lake is close to me .. Ok they don't plant Kokanee in the lake and *I caught 7 of those out of there aswelll last year .. So they must be reproducing or making it down from BB.

Last year at this time we caught fish on spinners behind flashers, it was slow but it worked. The fishing didn't really pick up untill right around March ...

Good info. to know! noahs_rippinlips and I will be out there 7-noon in a blue & white 15' Terrybass. We'll keep an eye out for you. We haven't been trout fishing in the narrows in months.

Last Sunday I was fishing between 15' & 20'.The best places for me have been between Blacks Ravine and Boston Bar or Keystone to Longs Cove. There are still fish to be caught, just mix your depths and speed up, also make sure that you are trolling in very exaggerated S turns. I will probably be out there Sat. in a 14' valco with bimini top. Swing by and hello.

    Fish on!

Thanks for the advice. I did mark fish, but my ff is not high quality so I mainly use it to check my depth. Next time I'll go deeper. Seems this time last year I limited very easily just toplining which I prefer compared to using the DR. Oh well, I'll break out the DR.

Did you mark any fish? Maybe deeper? :-? Sounds like you threw all the good lures & baits at them.

    Englebright 1/25

trolled a within a mile in either direction from the no ski bouys w/ dodger/crawler, rapala, dodger/needlefish and flasher/crawler at varying speed. toplined. only caught one nice brown in 3 hours right at the end before the sun went down on the flasher/crawler. maybe i should have trolled faster (?) or down below the surface a bit. where are the rainbows? any advice welcomed. thanks~
